CR officials look for volunteers for oversight committee

COLLEGE OF THE REDWOODS – Forty million dollars in general obligation bond money is in need of some eyes regarding its distribution. College of the Redwoods is looking for volunteers on its Citizen’s Bond Oversight Committee.

Participants will monitor and audit the use of the funds in accordance with education code, trustees policy and administration procedures. Those selected will represent College of the Redwoods in its Eureka and Del Norte service areas.

Volunteers cannot be a present CR employees or officials of Redwoods Community College District; this includes no vendors, contractors or consultants of the college district as well.
